Assist drafted 4 replies and one changelog entry. Nothing is sent until you approve it.
Assistants that take work off your plate
Give each assistant one job: reply to feedback, write specs, draft changelog entries or fix bugs. Pick the model it runs on. Nothing reaches a customer until you approve it.
Your model, your key
Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok or Perplexity. The provider bills your key directly.
“Would pay for a Sheets connector tbh”
Drafts, not decisions
Every reply waits for your approval. Edit it, approve it, or discard it.
31Google Sheets as a data source
Why: 31 voters, 4 paying teams. Scope: connect a sheet, sync hourly.
Connect a sheet and Murmur keeps it in sync. Thanks to the 31 of you who asked.
Specs and changelogs
Turn a ranked idea into a spec, or a shipped one into a changelog draft.
Drafts appear right where the work is
Assistants show up on the idea itself, marked with their name. Approve, edit or discard, or hand the idea to a coding agent.
“We export to Sheets every Monday. Pulling straight from a sheet would save our ops team an hour a week.” Maya, Lumen customer
Thanks Maya! Sheets as a source is planned for this quarter. We’ll email you the day it ships.
Fix with Claude: from approved idea to pull request
Press Approve with Claude on any idea. Claude gets a brief built from what customers asked for, opens a pull request in your repo, and when you merge it, every voter hears it shipped.
One job each, done well
An assistant is a name, a job and a model. Set it up once and it shows up exactly where that job happens in Murmur.
Reply to feedback
When a customer posts, the assistant drafts a reply on the idea. Only after you approve is it posted.
Write specs
Turn the request, the votes and the customer quotes into a short spec, saved as an internal note.
Draft changelog entries
When something ships it writes the entry from what customers asked for, as a draft to polish.
Fix bugs with your agent
Send an idea to Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot, Windsurf or Gemini CLI over MCP. Solo and Team.
Your model, your key
Add a key from Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok or Perplexity once. The provider bills you directly.
Limits you set
Every assistant has a monthly run limit and a pause switch. Failed runs never count.
Name it, give it a job, connect it
Setting up an assistant takes about two minutes, and its button appears wherever its job lives.
Name it and pick its job
Call it Reply Assistant or Bug Fixer and choose one job.
Choose what it runs on
A model from Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok or Perplexity, or a coding agent.
Connect it
Paste your API key, stored encrypted, or connect your coding agent to Murmur’s MCP server.
Approve its work
Drafts show up on the idea, marked with the assistant’s name. Approve, edit or discard.
Customer words go in as data, never as orders
Feedback is written by people outside your company, so Murmur keeps it from steering your agent. Quotes are passed as data, suspicious text is flagged before you confirm, and the result is always a pull request you review.
Questions founders ask
Which plans include Assist?
Reply, spec and changelog assistants work on every plan, including Free, because they run on your own API key. Coding assistants and Fix with Claude are on Solo and Team.
Who pays for the AI?
You do, directly. The model provider bills the key you add, and Murmur adds nothing on top. Set a monthly run limit on each assistant to keep it predictable.
Will it reply to customers on its own?
No. A reply is a draft until you approve it. You can edit it first or discard it.
Do I need Claude Code for Fix with Claude?
Not on your machine. A Claude routine runs Claude Code on the web in your own Claude account, and the GitHub route runs the Claude GitHub Action in your repo.
Can Claude change my main branch?
No. Claude works on a claude/ branch and opens a pull request. It never pushes to main, merges or deploys.
Is my API key safe?
It is encrypted before it is stored, never shown again, and only used for your own assistants. Remove it whenever you like.
